"The Renovate a Room campaign continues to be the Foundation's fundraising focus," said EMHF Chair Gary Jones. "Gala proceeds were earmarked for the Renovate a Room campaign, and the $16,500 raised will provide another room and a half for the project. Annual Giving funds will be earmarked for the Renovate a Room project. As you look at the end of the year charity giving, I hope you will consider Elbert Memorial Hospital Foundation, as your charity of choice. Any undesignated gifts will go toward the Renovate a Room project."
The hospital has entered into a contract with Brady Builders Inc. to renovate six rooms on the Acute Care Unit, with additional ones to follow as funding becomes available. Construction of the first six rooms will begin in December, and we appreciate everyone's consideration and understanding during this construction period.
